Rosemary Clarke Middle School is lucky to be the recipient of a 21st Century Community Learning Center Grant. This grant supports the SAFE Club, RCMS's after school program. SAFE Club operates Monday - Thursday until to 5:25 PM. There is no SAFE Club on Fridays or on half-days.  Students sign-in to SAFE Club immediately upon being dismissed from the courtyard. They are provided with a snack and are given about 20 minutes of supervised free time prior to going to enrichment activities which include character building, drug prevention, civics and STEM activities. After enrichment, students go to homework help and are assigned to a classroom teacher who is there to help with any problems the student may be having. Staff is also available to check grades. There are up to three teachers available per grade level for homework help and students are assigned to one of their own teachers whenever possible.

Homework time ends at 4:10 and that's when the fun begins. Additional enrichment activities include computers, board games, sports games or fitness activities, arts & crafts, recycling, cooking classes, a variety of clubs, and dance team. RCMS organizations also meet during SAFE Club enrichment time such as Kiwanis Sponsored Builder's Club. SAFE Club works closely with all sports programs at RCMS to provide our athletes with homework help before or after practice. A teacher is also made available for students who are still working on their homework during the enrichment time.

Home Depot built and donated the large package the girls used in their performance.

SAFE provided a time afterschool for those students who did not have enough time in the classroom to finish their rocket projects.
