SAFE will start August 19th for the 2024-2025 school year. Will send a message home to parents registered on Infinite Campus as well as put it into the daily student news at school for the kids to watch.

Kids attending SAFE must stay after school in their teacher's classroom when buses are dismissed, and then immediately report to the picnic table or cafeteria depending on the weather. Students are not allowed to stay in teachers' rooms, or leave campus on their own and return.

Students must be picked up at 5:15 pm, or earlier, each day at the front office. Kids will walk out at 5:15 pm to find their rides, and will only be allowed to walk if marked on the registration form. Students must be checked out by their parent/guardian to be able to stay after 5:15 pm to watch a sporting event, or marked as a walker and be attending with an adult.

We will have a single bus route that will run after the program at 5:15 for the 2024-2025 school year. The form needs to be received at RCMS in the front office and then we will send it to transportation for processing. This typically takes 2-3 days. You can also email to aveloz@nyeschools.org. The bus will run from RCMS to Mountain Falls with approximately 13 shuttle stops along the route. These shuttle stop locations are designed to be closer pick-up hubs for parents/guardians, and not stops that students are to walk home from, as they may be several miles from your place of residence. In the winter, the drop-off hubs will be dark.

Students who are not able to consistently follow SAFE and/or school rules will be asked to not return for the rest of the academic year. If they are in sports, they will need to find an alternative option after school.

Students not picked up on time at 5:15 may be asked to not return for the rest of the semester or academic year after the second incident.
