Today 11/19/20 will be the final day for basketball open gym. Next week the Safe Program will not be available due to the Thanksgiving Holiday and therefore we can not have open gym. Please stay tuned as basketball tryout information will be coming out soon. The hope is to start tryouts the week of December 7th. Athletes must be signed up on Register My Athlete and have a completed physical turned in to Mrs. Odegard in order to tryout. Please plan accordingly- Thank you!

Good afternoon, RCMS Parents, Guardians and Students.
There are many people who are having trouble with using technology during these trying times. We want you to know that help is available. The Rosemary Clarke After School SAFE Program will be offering a couple of sessions where parents/guardians can come with their child to learn some of the basics for Canvas and virtual school.
The available times are 4:00 PM - 4:30 PM on Wednesday and Thursday, September 23rd and 24th.
Please RSVP by 3:30 PM the day you want to attend, or earlier. If there are no more available slots, we will plan additional support sessions. You do not have to be part of SAFE to attend, as we can sign you up upon arrival with an RSVP.
You can RSVP @ 775-727-5546 ext. 2125 between the hours of 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM.

Fall Sports- Unfortunately, at this time we will not be able to move forward with Fall sports at RCMS due to Covid-19. The district has cancelled football, volleyball, cross country, and fall cheer for the 2020 school year. We are hoping to restart athletics in the winter with boys & girls basketball. Please sign up on Register my Athlete and get a completed physical to be ready for Winter and Spring sports. Thank you!

Mr. Skelton is retiring. He's made a video to say thank you to all of the kids and folks he's worked with over the years.

Parents, Guardians, and Community Members,
We know you have been asked to fill out several surveys recently, but we would appreciate your attention to one more.
This survey is meant to provide the grants department with guidance and data while writing for 20/21 grants, which will be critical for our operations in what is likely to be a challenging budget year.
The survey contains 20 topics and asks you to rate each topic's importance to you and your satisfaction with district implementation. A blank response will be counted as not-applicable for you, so you are welcome to leave items blank.
Please click here to take the survey: https://bit.ly/NyeGrantSurvey2020

Parent Engagement Survey: https://bit.ly/2AF7u7N
Parents & Guardians,
This is the same survey that we sent out at the beginning of the year on paper through the schools. Obviously, it was not possible to do the survey the same way at the end of the year.
Our grants require that we issue this survey twice per year to get comparative data.
Please take a few minutes to fill out the six questions.
Thank you,
-NCSD Grants & Family Engagement Dept.
