Attention 7th graders- Those interested in joining the 8th grade Eastern Seaboard trip, there will be an informational meeting on May 16th at 6:00 pm in the RCMS Teacher's Lounge.
NCSO and NCSD are aware of the social media posts threatening violence at schools tomorrow, May 10, 2023. A thorough investigation was conducted and it was determined that the threatening post originated outside of Nevada and was directed at a school in Clark County. NCSO has determined there is no credible threat to any NCSD schools. Out of an abundance of caution, patrols will be increased so there is a more visible NCSO presence around our schools.
We are looking for current RCMS 6th and 7th graders to sign up for the Catalina Island Marine Institute trip next Spring. The CIMI program focuses on marine biology and island ecology.

8th grade clap-out
Attention all parents and guardians.
We have less than 87 yearbooks available to be purchased. These are available to be reserved on a first come first serve basis. Once we have them distributed, we will hand out as student pay until we are sold out.
The RCMS yearbook can still be reserved in person for $50 while quantities last. We plan to get them passed out on or prior to May 16th. We only accept cash or money orders. Personal checks will not be collected, and will be sent back home with students.

Checkout our upcoming dress-up days for Nevada Reading Week! In addition, there will be activities all week in ELA/Reading classes for students!
The Nye County Sheriffs Office received information regarding an unsubstantiated threat across multiple Nevada school districts today. Due to this, all schools are implementing "Stay-Put" procedures, limiting movement around and within campus. If students are required to be outside for transitioning between classes, they will be accompanied by an employee.
Sheriff McGill also has deputies driving by, visiting, and monitoring campuses for safety through dismissal time.
Schools will follow normal dismissal times and procedures.
